In 2006 the turning point. Here is the "Tris", a new red which fills a missing link on a commercial level for tasters and consumers who love those wines that have young organoleptic characteristics, but above all more enveloping than wines produced from single varieties.
Produced by assembling in almost equal percentages of Barbera, Dolcetto vinified and aged in stainless steel and Merlot vinified in steel and aged for 9 months in small 225 liter barrels of second and third passage and bottled in August following the harvest.
Tris is a full, soft, enveloping, long and fruity wine with hints of cassis, plums, violets and small berries well blended with a light note of vanilla in the finish.
Certainly a very attractive wine for use by the glass, it goes well with appetizers, snacks and simple but quality cuisine.
Vineyard of 3 hectares (about 15,000 bottles) planted in 1974-2000, facing south (330 - 350 meters above sea level).
Intense ruby red color, with garnet reflections.
Net perfume with hints of plum and vanilla.
Full flavor with balanced tannins and noble wood aftertaste.
The sale of alcohol to minors under the age of 18 is prohibited.
