It stems from a long search for the best place to make a great wine with this variety. This is why we went to Noto, the place of origin of this variety where the DOC Noto insists, at the southern end of Sicily. With its white lands and its ancient vineyards it is
the epicenter of the cultivation of Nero d'Avola. A wine that is an expression of elegance, power, balance and exaltation of the unique scents of the lands of Sicily, and today finally point of
reference for the red Sicilian autochthonous grapes. Its name derives from that of our family: Planeta di Santa Cecilia.

De-stemming followed by 12 days on the skins; after racking, aging for 14 months in second and third passage Allier oak barriques

To be drunk immediately or to be aged up to 8-10 years

Color: purple red tending to purple
Nose: the aromatic profile rests on expressions typical of places
of origin of Nero d'Avola. Agile hints of fruit, black cherry and ripe plum mixed with citrus, carob and licorice. At the end
graphite sensations
Palate: the structure is vigorous and flowing for fresh and tannins

Serving suggestions:
It goes well with second courses of meat and sweet and sour fish.
