Truly a classy wine.
Palate:
Intense ruby red color with purple reflections. The nose is intense and fresh despite the hot vintage. Scents such as white flowers and spicy notes are perceived combined with hints of fresh red fruit such as cherry and currant. On the palate it is round and complex with the presence of sweet tannins in addition to a beautiful freshness. Wine with good structure and persistence, which in the aftertaste is pleasantly fruity with spicy notes.
winemaking:
After the destemming and a soft pressing, all the varieties were vinified separately; fermentation and maceration took place in steel tanks for about 15-20 days at a controlled temperature not exceeding 28 ° C.
Half of the wine was then transferred to used 225 l French and Hungarian oak barrels, where it completed the malolactic fermentation and where it then matured for approx. 8 months. The other 50% of the wine instead carried out the refinement in stainless steel tanks. The final assembly was subsequently carried out at the end of which the bottling was carried out.
