Pinot Nero Mazon "Riserva" DOC
Vineyard / Origin: This Pinot noir thrives in our vineyards on the plateau of Mazon. the vines are approximately 30 years of age.
Terrain: Asphalt, clay, lime and porphyry
wine-making: The grapes are separated from the stems at 75% and 25% you pay intact in the barrels. The fermentation lasts 11 days with the must always in direct contact with the skins.
Maturation: After two careful decanting, this wine matures for a year in small oak barrels, after the assembly of six months in oak barrels large, and then a year in bottle.
Description: pale ruby-garnet colour, dense and deep, the aroma is very typical of the undergrowth, wild berries and morello sweet and mellow. Warm, harmonious, coherent, round, rich in nuances, very strong and fine in the mouth. After you open wide and velvety, almost caressing, with the graceful sophistication of a wine truly of great caliber so as to become even more solid after two years spent in the bottle.
