Vineyard / Origin: This late harvest Gewürztraminer is selected from the best owned vineyards located in the town of Tramin - Termeno. the autochthonous grape bears the name of the village, and right here, it finds the ideal conditions of ripeness to give its best.
Soil: Clay - limestone gravel
Harvest: late November. The harvest is a very difficult moment. The overripe berries are very delicate and expert hands catch them to put them in small boxes and send them to the cellar.
Vinification: the bunches are softly pressed and, after light pressing and sedimentation, the must ferments slowly. After fermentation, the wine ages in small oak barrels for 12 months and after bottling for a further 6 months in the bottle.
Description: A wine with a golden color, of high composition, which releases "immediately" an intense aroma. The aromas are reminiscent of exotic fruits such as mango, papaya, with a touch of pineapple and lychee. On the palate it develops intense typically varietal aromas with a highly pleasant finish. Definitely intended to acquire further personality after a one-two year period in the bottle.
