From the selection of the vineyards of the eighties, in-depth investigations were conducted to identify the most suitable mother plants for the implementation of grafts and replantings that took place in the early 2000s.
After the pressing and destemming of the selected grapes, fermentation begins between 28 ° C and 30 ° C. The entire maceration process in steel tanks for 16-20 days with automatic punching down and daily pumping over. In March-April the new wine is transferred to new and first-pass French oak barrels, after 18-22 months of maturation the assembly and bottling follows. In glass, aging is guaranteed for at least 8-12 months before sale.
Ruby red color with good intensity and richness in shades of color. Complex aromatic varieties, with accentuated notes of tobacco and wet earth (but also earth dust) and hints of black currant, blackberry and licorice. On the palate it reflects a good tannins and consistency of medium soft tannins. Good consistency, structure and breed with an aftertaste. Excellent longevity in large vintages.
