The vineyards are located in Berardenga Castle, in the south-eastern part of the production area of the Chianti Classico, northeast of Siena. Oriented almost exclusively to the southwest, they extend over winds of between 320 and 420 meters above sea level. From a geological point of view the soils are quite heterogeneous: in the higher parts predominates the quartz sandstone boulder and the alberese mixed with a flood pill; layered sandstones and sielm characterize the vineyards on the border with the Senesi Hills in the direction of the Crete Senesi.
