Chardonnay Löwengang DOC
Description: bright yellow color with green reflections. Rich, complex and fresh bouquet, with delicate aromas, scent of butter and vanilla. It is a full-bodied and full wine, elegant on the palate, characterized by a fresh and well balanced acidity. The delicate flavor of the wood blends harmoniously with the structure of the wine. Very good persistence with a slight note of bitter almond.
Aging potential: 6 - 8 years.
Pairing: with fish, crustaceans, white meats and poultry.
Origin: selected Magrè vineyards, located at different altitudes 230 - 450 m. Sandy, gravelly and calcareous soils.
Very hot microclimate with strong temperature variations between night and day.
Age of vines: 25 - 65 years.
Harvest: late August, early September.
Vinification: soft pressing; alcoholic fermentation, maturation and aging on the lees in barriques (Tronçais, Vosges, Nevers and Alliers, half of which are new) for 11 months.

Production: 43,500 bottles.
