Fermented and improved in bangs of durmast of Slavonia with 750 litres for 12-16 months and commercialised two years after the vintage.
Examination degustativo: Head Martino uvaggio between Tocai F., Boils Yellow, Malvasia Istriana and Picolit. “Of a beautiful bright and sparkling gilt yellow colour. Intense and complex perfume with signs of home and tropical ripe fruit and of withered flowers skimmed by a light veil of vanilla. There emerge apple, banana, filbert, genista and passionflower. In mouth it is a velvet. It has a perfect gustatory balance, a delicate aromaticità, an infinite persistence. The perfect with Czechs puree with octopuses jumped to the rosemary”.
(Duemilavini Guida 2006 A.I.S., Head Martino 2003)
Historical signs: With the vintage 1991 we have produced for an alone year
the “Little Dream towards a promised land”, to remind of “the journey” of the great-grandfather Anton, undertaken 110 years beforehand, at Bilijana's (it prays in Collio Sloveno) Villanova. The “Little Dream” was retaking the traditions and manual character of the past generations. We had chosen Boil it Again Yellow and the withered Tocai in all that historical variedness. The label was expressing the expensive elements in the agricultural world: the sun, the water, the grapes as fruit of the land and the fishes like religiousness mark.
All this thought and philosophy are continued by Head Martino to obtain a wine that always expresses elegance with body and complexity.
