The Cabernet Sauvignon by Marco Felluga is a red wine with a profile soft, balanced and full in the mouth, perfect therefore to be consumed at all meals, especially if it is the meat that is the protagonist of the dishes served in the table. During the tasting there is a great consistency between nose and mouth, in which the richness of the fruit is fundamental. A label that, among the many qualities, also has the ability to refine without any problems for the next five years, guaranteeing, at the time of opening, an ordered symphony of flavors and scents.
The Cabernet Sauvignon signed by Marco Felluga originates from those vineyards located in the communes of San Floriano and Cormons, at a height on the sea level between the 80's and 250's on the sea level. The terroir has an aeocene origin, and has an alternation between boundaries and calcareous clays with cemented sands. Cabernet Sauvignon vines grow with the guyot system, and the harvest takes place during the middle of October. The fermentation of the must takes place in steel, and the maceration on the skins is carried out with the technique of folding. The wine is then transferred for a total of 12 months in oak barrelsto be further refined by six months in glass after bottling.
The red Cabernet Sauvignon wine marked Marco Felluga is announced to the eye with a typical ruby colour, with a beautiful intensity. The nose is refined and stratified, which proposes olfactory references in which the red fruit alternates with the shelled one, in a more spicy background.
