In the local dialect Burdese means Bordeaux and refers to the classic blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. It is a red wine of great density, structure and balance, produced in limited quantities from selected vineyards. Burdese is a great aging wine that offers a complexity of aromas and flavors, the fruit of the Sicilian sun.

winemaking:
De-stemming followed by 15 - 18 days of stay on the skins; after racking, aging in new Allier oak barriques for 14 months, malolactic fermentation in wood

Aging capacity:
To be drunk immediately or to be aged up to 10-12 years

Tasting notes:
Color: Ruby red of great concentration
The nose is rich and concentrated. Interweaving of spices, red fruit, sour cherry, with accents of leather, earth, cocoa, notes
marine and minerals. The frame is almost mentholated balsamic.
Palate: In the mouth it is full, spirited, energetic; evident and remarkable the
structure supported by dense and deep tannins. The tannin of the wood blends well with the tannin of the wine, which prevails.
The finish is long and pleasant: concentration and elegance in harmony
