Barbaresco DOCG FASET
One of the best-known areas of Barbaresco, in the nineteenth century Faset belonged in its entirety to the Cocito Counts of Neive, while it is now divided between several owners. The vineyards form a large and steep basin facing south, with the western side declining towards the Tanaro river. The parcel from which the Barbaresco Faset originates belongs to a vineyard which extends for about 3 hectares and which is part of the Cabanet farmhouse.
The soils rich in calcium and magnesium make it an area of excellence, which gives Barbaresco silky, with elegant tannins.
